Lane Cove Council and Lane Cove Art Society invites artists to exhibit in the Annual Lane Cove Art Award sponsored by Lane Cove Council. The exhibition is held at Gallery Lane Cove.
The Lane Cove Art Award started in 1965. It is an acquisitive award with several other prizes on offer.

Centrehouse Inc. Prize for Commended Work: $1,000 sponsored by Centrehouse Inc.
The Hyecorp Property Prize is only open to Lane Cove Art Society members and/or Lane Cove residents.

Join us for the opening night of the Lane Cove Art Award - Council’s annual celebration of artistic talent and one of the highlights of Lane Cove’s visual arts calendar.
Enjoy complimentary canapes and wine as you explore the exhibition and discover the diversity of talent represented in this year’s Art Award.
The exhibition is curated and presented in partnership with the Lane Cove Art Society and Lane Cove Council, bringing together artists and our community for a night dedicated to creativity.
There’s even more to celebrate this year. Before the art award beings, Mayor Merri Southwood will also officially launch:
- New professional pottery wheels, funded through the Lane Cove Councils East Ward funds, expanding opportunities for our community to learn and practise on the latest equipment for wheel-based ceramics.
- 🎨 A new First Nations public art mural, by Dr Emma Hicks and Merindah Funnell ,adding an important new work to the creative life of the Gallery.
