This Saturday 10 August, 11am-12:30pm, join Muruwarri artist, Dr Virginia Keft, in an interactive weaving, collage and creativity workshop for children and families! Gidju Murra means ‘small hands’ in Muruwarri language. Families with children are invited to play creatively with Indigenous weaving techniques. They will use a variety of art materials while thinking about themes of place, Country and nature to create a vibrant and personal weaving artwork. In line with our commitment to fostering a vibrant arts community, participation is by donation. This means you can contribute as much as you feel comfortable, making this workshop accessible to all.
