About the event

We invite you to share a table with Rolande Souliere, Justine Youssef and Gillian Kayrooz.

These three contemporary female-identifying artists will each present a dish that holds personal significance. Through the medium of food, artists will narrate aspects of their personal, artistic and cultural journeys and swap stories of culture, family and community.

This experience will be followed by informal drinks and the opening of Uneven Terrain: Surveying the landscape (curated by Rhonda Davis) and Re-illuminated: female archetypes’ strength and endurance (Lucienne Fontannaz)- two exhibitions featuring exciting contemporary female artists.

Music will be by Sydney-based DJ, FLYWAVES and wines will be winemaker and vigneron, Nadja Wallington (ChaLou Wines).

A Shared Table is a collaboration between Gallery Lane Cove + Creative Studios and Sydney Arts management Advisory Group (SAMAG) in celebration of International Women’s Day 2024.
