echoes & silences:  

               there is a silence that echoes so profoundly you can’t ignore it. 

  

The theme, echoes & silences, delves into rich resources, from the tangible of the landscape and oceans to the non-tangible in silence, the personal to the communal, echoes & silences yields critical reflections and thoughtful projections from the artists.  

 

echoes & silences is the latest exhibition planned for 2026 by untethered fibre artists inc. 

 

20 fibre and textile artists interrogate, interpret and respond to the theme to produce 40 fibre artworks, in varying sizes and configuration, as an interrelated exhibition.  

 

untethered fibre artists inc. aim to extend the viewers vocabulary of textile and fibre art and to provoke personal thoughts and journeys through contemporary, innovative and expertly crafted works.
