Since winning the 2013 Lloyd Rees Memorial Youth Art Awards, Loique has travelled, attended international residencies and recenty started her Honours in Tasmania. This exhibition will showcase her latest body of large format lino and wood block prints.

These awards have been held since 1981 and showcase prints, paintings and drawings from emerging artists across Australia. With a $5000 cash prize and solo exhibitition, this is a unique national prize that promotes the incredible talents of young artists. Works are for sale and we have over 70 works on show from artists from Victoria, New South Wales, ACT, South Australia & Western Australia.


The awards will be judged by artists Guy Warren OA and Denis Clarke with Rhonda Davis, Senior Curator, Macquarie University Gallery.

First time that TWO acquisitive awards of $5,000 were announced last night (21 August), not just one as usual. A big thank you to the Lane Cove Council for their amazing support of emerging artists.
