Shapeshifting

2020

Pen & Ink on Paper

30 x 40cm

$150

Our lives and all the factors influencing our lives are in a constant state of flux. This alteration from certainty to uncertainty has sharply been brought to focus with Covid 19 and is part of the transitional process where we do not know the outcome.

Red

2020

Collage on Paper

90 x 70cm

$200

I was searching for a motif depicting a kind of visceral ‘rawness’. I created a number of these during my 2020 Gallery Lane Cove residency when working on gender identity and rebirth.

Cycle

2020

Collage on Paper

43 x 30cm

$150

From Girl to Motherhood, an exploration in expectations, where gender marks the female rite of passage. This is the earliest collage in the series but the most resolved from a visual perspective. Made during my 2020 Gallery Lane Cove residency when working on gender identity.

Mindscape II

2019

Oil on Canvas

65 x 65cm

$600

Sunlight and shadows. This image was painted to evoke transience, where anything and everything changes. I think we always have the potential to change as we navigate and reflect these experiences, so transforming ourselves is always an ongoing process.
