‘Loyal Dragons’

Create a mythical Loyal Dragon. Let’s create dragons fired up by your wildest imagination and gaining ideas from popular picture books. Lets think scales, tails, horns and wings. Join us in making a dragon using different ceramics techniques coils, pinching and slabs. Then finishing it with wild colours.

Dress for mess!
Whilst it's fun and exciting, making art can get messy so make sure you are wearing casual and comfortable clothes that are allowed to get a little bit grubby. Fully enclosed shoes MUST be worn at all times in the workshop.

Pack a snack!
Please note that food is not provided for students, so if you think you will get hungry during the class, bring something to eat. A waterbottle is also a good idea!

All art making materials will be provided!
Mandie Robertson is a Sydney Northern Beaches Ceramic artist who has completed her Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Ceramics. She has been studying Ceramics for the past 8 years, specializing mainly in hand building and has attended various workshops and exhibited in several exhibitions in the Sydney area. She has been teaching children’s classes more recently.

As a mother of 3, her enjoyment lies in passing her knowledge and experience onto others with fun, patience and enthusiasm. She enjoys nothing more than the smile at the end of class as the children realise what they have created out of clay.
Children enrolled in morning and afternoon sessions will be supervised through the 45 minute lunch break. Just pack lunch and extra snacks There is NO additional fee for this supervision.

If you would like your child looked after before the course starts, we have supervision from 8.30 - 9.30 at a cost of $8, for after workshop care from 4.15/4.30 - 5.30 at a cost of $8.

If you would like before and after workshop care on the same day there is a fee of $15
