The combination of working with pencil and sculpture will allow students to learn the similarities and differences between drawing and sculpture. Students will recognise the process of drawing as a continuous line which can be applied to the third dimension. The quick gestural drawings made by students will help the character of a figure seem energetic and expressive. The linier form can make the representation of a figure eccentric and fun. Students will find ways of manipulating the figure in different poses with varying proportions to change its character. The project will use malleable qualities of foil to make the process fast and expressive.
