Experienced watercolour teacher Josefia Lemon aims to simplify some of the fundamental techniques of painting with watercolours. Demonstrations will be given. References will be provided. It is suitable for beginners.
What you'll need:
3B pencil, rubber, watercolour palette with large enough mixing area compartments plus small compartments for pigments, 2 water containers (ex round containers for take away food), toilet tissue, 1 old towel, a A4 size board as a backing for watercolour paper.
- For beginners: can buy a set of watercolour pigments
BRUSHES FOR WATERCOLOUR: One large round for washes, one round medium eg. Size 3, one round Size 1; and one synthetic liner size 4.
PAPER: watercolour paper, medium texture (cold pressed) in a pad is fine
