Kids Mixed Media, 8-12 YRS TUESDAYS 3:45pm-5:15pm

TERM 1 STARTS FEBRUARY 2ND

KIDS MIXED MEDIA

Age Group: 8-12 Years

Teacher: Jen Brady

Day & Time: Tuesdays 3:45pm-5:15pm

9 week term

Cost: $208

This after school course aims to develop the students' understanding of drawing and painting, encouraging material experimentation and creative play. This term will focus on the different ‘elements’ of art:  line, color, value, shape, form, space, and texture.

Over the 9 week term, students will learn new artmaking skills and techniques across a wide range of mediums. The first half of the term will look at strengthening skills and techniques, introducing students to both traditional and more contemporary art making processes.

Towards the end of the term the classes will look more at how to make a ‘resolved’ artwork, and students will have the chance to work on their own self-directed project whether it be a drawing, painting, print or sculpture!

This multimedia course is perfect for kids who like to do a bit of everything. The teacher will work with students to strengthen skills they already have and also teach them something new each lesson.
