Creating Imaginary Worlds

This after school course aims to develop the students understanding of drawing and painting, encouraging  material experimentation and creative play.

Over the 9 week term, students will learn new artmaking skills and techniques across a wide range of mediums. The first half of the term will look at strengthening skills and techniques, introducing students to both traditional and more contemporary art making processes. Towards the end of the term the classes will look more at how to make a ‘resolved’ artwork, whether it be a drawing, painting, print or sculpture!

This mixed media course is perfect for kids who like to do a bit of everything. The teacher will work with students to strengthen skills they already have and also teach them something new each lesson.
