ABOUT THE EVE VONWILLER CHILDRENS ART AWARDS

The Eve Vonwiller Youth Art Awards have been run annually by Centrehouse (Gallery Lane Cove + Creative Studios since 2016) as part of Lane Cove's Cameraygal Festival* since 1995.

The Awards promote, support and recognise the creative talents of young people in the North Shore area, and provide opportunities for the development of their talents through associated workshops.
 
Eve Vonwiller was an inspirational art tutor and was passionate about children's art and taught at Centrehouse for many years. 

 

"MY HAPPY PLACE"

The theme for 2022 is My Happy Place. Entrants are encouraged to create a work responding to this theme in 

Applications are open to children aged 5 - 15 years, for works in Painting, Drawing, Printmaking.

Exhibition of entries will be held at Gallery Lane Cove 9 - 13 August 2022.

Certificates will be awarded in each age group (5-7 years, 8-11 years & 12 - 15 years). One overall 'People's Choice' Prize will be voted during the exhibition.

Winner of 12 - 15 years prize sponsored by Lane Cove Art Society. 

Deadline for Entries Monday 22 July 2022.
